Bream has exciting news!! This Sunday, June 9, 2019, we will have a congregational meeting at 12:30 p.m. to vote...on a new full-time pastor! Please try to be there so we can take this exciting step forward in our Church’s history! Pastor Dawn Adamy has been vetted by our PNC over the last couple of months and they’ve unanimously recommended her. Pastor Dawn was raised in Roanoke, VA, graduated from the University of Virginia in 1987 and Princeton Theological Seminary in 2004. She’s married to Sam Adamy, and they have 3 children - Hannah, Kate and Daniel. She states her pastoral priorities are simple “in providing pastoral care, to embody compassion and encouragement; in preaching and teaching, to help people engage with scripture in inspiring and thought provoking ways; in reaching out to the community, to be a firm and faithful witness to the love and grace of Jesus Christ.” You can read more about Pastor Dawn in the insert that was included with this months Chimes. If you didn’t receive the Chimes, please reach out to us and we can send you a copy.
This Sunday, we welcome Maureen Wright, the Stated Clerk of the WV Presbytery, to the pulpit. Our service will be at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. We hope to see you there! Communion will be served.

Congratulations to Kelsey McMeans and Gary, Grandma Molly McMeans and great-grandma Peggy Maddox Cavender! Sophie Grace was born today at 2:37 p.m., 6 lbs, 11 oz, 18.5 inches long! Mom and baby are both doing well!
